What is the difference between OFCu and ECu copper?
The difference stems from the manufacturing process of the individual wires: OFCu (with a purity of 99.95%) is referred to as oxygen-free copper (non-deoxidized), and ECu (with a purity of 99.90%) as oxygen-containing copper.
OFCu is used for individual wires ranging from 0.07 to 0.15 mm, and ECu copper is used for wires ranging from 0.20 to 0.30 mm.
